Marc Pubill is now on the ground in Italy and has begun his medical in the city of Milan ahead of the completion of his transfer to Atalanta.
The recent Olympic gold medalist landed in Italy on Saturday night, and has now begun his mandatory checks before signing on the dotted line.
Atalanta have reportedly agreed to pay Almeira a fee in the region of €16m to secure the 21-year-old’s services ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
