Paul Pogba appears to hit back at his brother Mathias who had questioned his religious faith.

The France international is currently out of action due to an injury but has been dealing with plenty of issues off the pitch since his return to Turin.

He was allegedly a victim of blackmail and extortion and is currently getting police protection in Italy while part of an organised gang, including his brother Mathias, have been taken into custody in France.

How Pogba’s Juventus return has turned into a nightmare

The alleged extortion case began in March when Pogba was still playing for Manchester United, but it all became public less than a month ago when Mathias posted an Instagram video where he said he had several revelations to make about his brother.

Mathias, among other things, alleged that his brother hired a witch doctor to place a spell on some of his opponents and compatriots, including Kylian Mbappé.

“Sorry about this, brother. A so-called Muslim deep in witchcraft, it’s never good to have a hypocrite and a traitor near you,” Mathias said in his first video published at the end of August.

The Juventus star apparently hit back at his brother on Friday, after Mathias had published several automated tweets with new allegations about the 29-year-old.

Paul posted an old interview where Muhammad Ali thanked Allah for his achievement in his life and career after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Perhaps it was a way for Pogba to say that his faith is also very much true.

The Juventus midfielder has never openly spoken about the extortion case but said he was ‘mentally ok’ after undergoing meniscus surgery earlier this month.
