Inter winger Ivan Perisic has made history as the first man to score for Croatia in four major tournaments.

He found the net with a stunning individual strike in this evening’s Euro 2020 clash with the Czech Republic.

Perisic sprung the offside trap down the left, cut inside and curled into the far top corner with his right boot.

That was his first goal of Euro 2020, but also an historic occasion.

No man had previously found the net for Croatia in four different major tournaments, between the European Championships and World Cup.

The 32-year-old now has 29 goals in 103 senior caps for Croatia, scoring in the 2014 World Cup, Euro 2016, the 2018 World Cup and now Euro 2020.
