The Serie B promotion showdown between Parma and Palermo started with a bang, as after three minutes Matteo Brunori chipped the goalkeeper from 40 metres out.

This match had barely started at the Stadio Tardini when Mamadou Coulibaly won it back in midfield and Brunori spotted Leandro Chichizola off his line.

Without hesitation, Brunori launched the delicate and precise lob under the crossbar from a huge distance.

Parma are currently top of the Serie B table alongside Venezia on 33 points, while Palermo are playing catch-up on 24 points.

Brunori’s second goal was not exactly boring either.
