Lazio’s only January transfer signing Jovane Cabral has arrived in the Capital on loan from Sporting CP. ‘I am very happy to be here.’
The left-sided winger was the sole new addition to Maurizio Sarri’s squad in the Winter window, the lack of activity sparking a protest from the ultras at the training ground, planned for Thursday afternoon.
The 23-year-old Cape Verde international can also play on the right or as a support striker.
Jovane arrived on loan for €1m from Sporting CP with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €8m.
He gave a thumbs up to photographers at the airport and assured he was ‘very happy to be here.’
