A Napoli fan took the opportunity to play a prank on Juventus coach Max Allegri, ‘mistaking’ him for Luciano Spalletti.
The two coaches are both from Tuscany and have let’s say a similar distinctive hairstyle, in that they are shaved completely bald.
So when a Napoli supporter approached Allegri from behind and congratulated him on ‘winning the Scudetto,’ he at first said ‘thank you.’
Only after the fan confessed “ah sorry, I thought you were Spalletti” did Allegri get what was going on.
He took it well enough, responding: “There you go, bravo.”
Allegri has won the Serie A title on six different occasions, once with Milan in 2010-11 and then five in a row at Juventus, but not since 2019.
