José Mourinho dedicated Roma‘s win over Shakhtar Donetsk to his players with a video posted on Instagram.

The Giallorossi returned to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night in their last pre-season friendly. The stadium was sold out and Mourinho’s boys met expectations securing a spectacular 5-0 win.

Mourinho dedicated the victory to his players with an Instagram video after the match.

The Special One shared a moment from the team’s unveiling, which had taken place before kick-off last night.

The ex-Inter and Chelsea boss pointed at captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and captioned the video by writing: ‘Players…always players.’

  1. No, he’s not humble. He just misas(s)umed that all the applause was meant for him.🤣🤣🤣

  2. Or some of the crowd is actually chanting his name so he points to the players or maybe he is just simply pointing to his players to hype up the crowd. Either way, Roma fans have a lot to cheer about this season.

I was joking. (Though, come to think of it, Jose’s viewpoint is so skeewed, it wouldn’t surprise me that he actually thought he was the absolute star of yesterday’s presentation. He is INCREDIBLY egoistical.)

Great to see you again, my friend! I hope you are doing OK (and will not mind when Roma beats you this season.😜)
(Nah, I actually believe Inter is still stronger, but I do expect a much better fight this year!)

  4. Thanks for nice words, ROMAntic. 🙂 I think this season Inter and Roma are in same way, small moments and injuries will make difference. For sure no more wins 3:0 and 3:1. Now it’s much harder for us. I hope Dybala won’t score against or he will make “in your face” guesture. 😅 😅 😅
