Jose Mourinho auditioned for the role of VAR by celebrating Roma’s goal against Real Betis several minutes before it was confirmed.
The offside flag went up in Seville as Mady Camara got down the right and rolled across for Andrea Belotti to fire in the equaliser.
However, while everyone else waited several minutes for the VAR to check every angle, Mourinho took a quick glance at the replay on his assistant’s tablet and started celebrating wildly on the touchline.
It was extremely tight, but it turns out Mourinho called it correctly and the goal was eventually given.
