Adana Demirspor coach Vincenzo Montella had to be physically restrained from confronting his own striker Mario Balotelli in an ugly post-match row.

The incident erupted on the pitch following the final whistle of a 1-0 Turkish Super Lig victory over Umraniye.

Balotelli seemingly said something to Montella as he was walking away, the coach then turned and lunged at the forward, restrained from engaging in a physical altercation by members of his staff.

It’s hardly the first time that Balotelli has got into clashes with his own managers, famously thrown off the training ground by Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

  1. Balo has always been undisciplined and a trouble maker that’s why he hasn’t had a better career.

  2. I feel sorry for montella for wasting his time and energy on such a disgusting piece of waste to humanity.

  3. If Mario Baloteli had some respect and discipline towards football he will be the best player and best striker in the world once or two times but his bad tember and undicipline acts caused to low level leagues and became forgettable lad sorry.
