Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan has not only become the starter between the sticks for France but also scored a goal during a training session with his national team on Wednesday.

The video, originally posted by the France Federation on Instagram, has gone viral on social media and shows the France international score with a sliding finish during a training session on Tuesday.

Many Milan fans on social media have joked about it, suggesting the France international could be helpful in this new position for Stefano Pioli given that the Rossoneri have only scored three goals in four matches across all competitions in March.

Maignan has become France’s starting goalkeeper, replacing Hugo Lloris, who announced his international retirement after the World Cup.
