After some Milan supporters jeered Rafael Leao, the Curva Sud ultras sent a message by chanting the Portuguese star’s name.
There were audible jeers from the San Siro crowd when Leao left the field in a 2-0 Serie A victory over Sassuolo before the break for New Year festivities.
The Rossoneri were back in action this evening in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 against Cagliari.
With Leao only on the bench, the Milan ultras still wanted to make him feel supported and loudly chanted his name in the build-up to the match.
