Billy Gilmour landed with a private jet and is set to be presented to Napoli fans tonight at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, while Scott McTominay is already enjoying life at Napoli.

The two Scotland internationals finally got their moves late on transfer deadline day, Gilmour from Brighton and Hove Albion after the club raised its offer to €14m plus another €5m in add-ons, while McTominay cost €30.5m from Manchester United.

McTominay and Gilmour bring Scotland to Napoli

The Seagulls player had to undergo his medical in England to get the deal over the line and flew in this afternoon at Capodichino Airport from London with a private jet.

Napoli play this evening against Parma at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, so the 23-year-old will be in the stands and most likely presented to the fans before kick-off by legendary stadium DJ and speaker ‘Decibel’ Bellini.

Fans were waiting outside the hotel, but only got his brother instead.

Meanwhile, McTominay is settling in marvellously in Naples, posing for selfies with fans, going shopping and enjoying the kind of scenery and weather he is unlikely to get in Scotland or Manchester – a view of Vesuvius from the beach.
