Follow Scott McTominay as he came face to face with the passion of Napoli supporters and the Diego Armando Maradona statue following his transfer from Manchester United. ‘Wow! I’ve got goosebumps.’

The Scotland international flew in to Capodichino Airport with his family and was surrounded by a crowd of joyful supporters.

He signed the contract in the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and was overwhelmed seeing the statue of the Argentina legend.

“He’s the most iconic football player you could ever, to play in his stadium, he’s an icon of the game. I am so grateful to be part of his history playing in this amazing stadium. I’ve got goosebumps. There’s magic in this left foot. The best ever.”

The player completed the transfer too late to make his debut in the 2-1 win over Parma, then jetted off to international duty with Scotland, but cannot wait to get started with Napoli.

“I’m here to win now!”

  1. I think he will do well, he could be scary under Conte. You see, None of his former managers truly believed in Scott, he was at Man Utd because he is Sir Alex Fercussons nephew. It’s his chance to prove the world that’s over. I am not looking forward to face this Napoli

  2. Napoli is looking like a very strong side with these new buys, hopefully this year will be better than last years sh!! show.
the midfield was lacking for me and to see them take action only means Napoli is on business this year, not sure about Conte but only time will tell.
