Milan’s 0-0 friendly draw with Real Madrid was an opportunity for a clearly star-struck Marcelo to ask Paolo Maldini for a picture.
Even the biggest stars in football are also fans and it was no different for Brazil international left-back Marcelo.
He is usually a bright and gregarious figure on and off the pitch, but he seemed positively shy and overcome with emotion when approaching Milan legend Maldini to see if they could take a picture together.
Marcelo might’ve won the Champions League four times, La Liga on five occasions and four Club World Cup trophies, but he’s still in awe of Maldini.
