As is increasingly the norm for football players introducing themselves to new teammates, they are asked to stand and sing as part of a hazing ritual.

Manolas certainly did not back down, as he chose a very tough song: Caruso by Lucio Dalla.

It is special to Napoli, as many of the lyrics are in a Neapolitan dialect, but above all has one of the most difficult high notes in Italian music.

As Lorenzo Insigne’s Instagram video shows, Manolas acquitted himself remarkably well.
