Milan director Paolo Maldini and club legend Alessandro Nesta celebrated wildly after Rafael Leao gave the Rossoneri the lead against Atalanta.

Going into the match against La Dea, Milan knew a win would put them on the brink of winning the title and a packed Giuseppe Meazza was beginning to get a little nervous before Leao opened the scoring on 56 minutes to spark pandemonium in the stands.

And nowhere was that more evident than in the directors’ box where Maldini and Nesta let their emotions show.

Milan went on to win 2-0 and now need just a point from their final match to guarantee a first Scudetto in 11 years.

  1. Glad to see the owners being present in the form of Gordon Singer also. Let’s not celebrate to much. There is still a job to be done.

  2. There is no celebration yet, but this was the toughest test I think. Still, we need to win at Mapei stadium

  3. Every time I see Malini on TV with Milan I remember 33 years ago when I watched Milan for the first time and the love I have for that team. Thank you for all the amazing moments and thank you for coming back home.

  4. @PUTUCO we don’t need to win at mapei 1 point is enough to win serie a but I hope this guys go in with the winning mentality
