An Inter fan has created a quite astonishing video using deepfake technology to put Romelu Lukaku into Lord of the Rings, including Lautaro Martinez as Legolas, Marcelo Brozovic as Frodo Baggins and Paulo Dybala as Arwen.

The clip was put together by supporters preparing for the ‘Return of the King’ as Lukaku is set for his medical after leaving Chelsea on loan for €8m plus bonuses.

Lukaku is cast as Aragorn receiving the crown from Inter President Steven Zhang, while faces in the crowd include former President Massimo Moratti.

When Lukaku meets with Martinez, they change the script to: ‘We’ll kick ass again.’

Just as Dybala approaches Lukaku, director Beppe Marotta whispers to remember economic sustainability.

  1. Good work by the Inter tifosi and cropping Dybala as the little princess that he is. Joke of a player, not in talent but in brains. He will have to accept a lower wage and once again Marotta strikes gold with Lukaku returning. Got the cash, made the profit and coming back for literally next to nothing.
