Romelu Lukaku continued his apology tour, this time saying sorry to Chelsea fans after his apology to Inter supporters had infuriated them.

The striker sparked the controversy with his Sky Sport Italia interview, which aired on December 30 and 31, in which he apologised to Inter supporters for the way he walked away over the summer and forced a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

He also said that was “not happy” with the situation in London under manager Thomas Tuchel, which saw him then dropped for the big Premier League game against Liverpool.

Now Chelsea have released a video of Lukaku apologising to Chelsea fans for having apologised to Inter supporters.

Will his next video be an apology to Inter fans for having taken back the original apology?

  1. It didn’t take long to mention his mum 😂 The turncoat always needs his mum to concoct excuses, whilst sounding like the usual money chasing, sleazy and totally lacking in credibility person. I don’t think there has ever been a footballer more revolting and cringe inducing than this turncoat.

  2. @Uncle Z. Competition is not something that makes me unhappy. Lukaku was what he was because of conte and the quality players around him. Regardless, it isn’t lukaku the player who I detest. It is his character that despise. He embodies everything in a footballer in this day and age that is just pitifully unpleasant.

  3. Fair enough Rosario, I feel the same way about this British Ramsay who is still milking us with his 400k a week salary. It is our fault as we made too many mistakes with free transfers but it is what it is.

  4. @Uncle Z.

Whilst Ramsey has failed on the pitch, Lukaku is an interesting example. I’d be interested to know of his relationship with his father, or maybe the lack of a relationship. There is a really reeking level of entitlement when it comes to his character, and I think that masks resentment. It would be interesting to know of his previous experiences with his love interests. If I were to take a guess, a bit like with football clubs, I think lukaku could be found not to be very loyal with previous girlfriends etc. He might be loyal to his family, but family is family, so there is a certain element of needing to work on fixing things. But with girls, girlfriends and employers, Lukaku seems that as a means to an end.

What is tragic though is that his sense of entitlement is entangled with delusions of grandeur. You see such narcissistic elements to Ronaldo’s character as well but unlike Ronaldo, Lukaku isn’t as talented and certainly not in anyway as hardworking and dedicated. That’s why when backs are against the wall, it is never Lukaku’s fault. It is always the club, teammates, managers, weather, family being far away, formations…he always has an excuse. Deep rooted resentment instilled as a result of poor upbringing has Lukaku firmly believe he can do no wrong and that he is entitled to whatever he feels he deserves. long story short – I wouldn’t want him near my club in a million years.

  5. @ Rosario – meanwhile in reality, if you saw him on the street you would say “please can I have an autograph Mr. Lukaku I’m your biggest fan” 🤣 I noticed that the biggest critics of big strong bruddas are always dweeby little skinny nothing’s lol

  6. @Skib. I’d much rather ask for Nigel Farage’s autograph than Lukaku’s. dweeby little skinny nothing’s? Tough talk online….! If you were even on the same continent…but I doubt it.
