Roma received reassuring news after Romelu Lukaku scored twice for Belgium in a 5-0 victory over Estonia, while Charles De Ketelaere of Atalanta also found the net.

The Red Devils ran riot in this evening’s EURO 2024 qualifier in Brussels.

Jan Vertonghen and Leandro Trossard had them already 2-0 up after 18 minutes, but Lukaku hit a quickfire double in the space of 120 seconds.

That is a boost for Roma, who need their striker at full fitness after his loan move from Chelsea.

Lukaku is now the top scorer in the EURO 2024 qualifying campaign with eight goals for his country.

Atalanta were also pleased, because De Ketelaere scored the fifth goal from an extremely tight angle, further improving the confidence that had been wrecked while at Milan.
