There was a very tense exchange between Inter teammates Romelu Lukaku and Nicolò Barella during this evening’s game against Sampdoria.

It was still goalless after 40 minutes when a pass was misplaced in midfield and Barella waved his arms around in frustration.

This is hardly new behaviour, he often does that and has been criticised for it before, but this time it hit a nerve.

Lukaku was caught on camera very clearly shouting at Barella and waving a finger at him.

“Don’t do that, enough with these arms! Do not do that! It’s not good, it’s insulting, now stop!”

Barella must’ve said something in response, because the clip ended with Lukaku saying: “**** you, son of a bitch!”

Many of the fans online spotted the exchange and were behind Lukaku, because Barella has gained a reputation for venting his frustration at teammates rather than encouraging them to push on.

“It’s the first good thing Lukaku has done this season,” wrote one supporter.

Another suggested the outcome should the argument escalate, referencing Hulk vs. Loki.
