Napoli are top of the table after a victory away to Milan, but footage has emerged showing Hirving Lozano very irritated with the coaching staff at the latest snub.

The Partenopei won the match with a Matteo Politano penalty and Giovanni Simeone header at San Siro on Sunday evening.

Mexico international Lozano was available again after injury, but remained on the bench, as Alessio Zerbin was preferred to him when Politano went off injured.

After the final whistle, Lozano was caught on camera refusing to look at Luciano Spalletti’s assistant manager Marco Domenichini, then pushing the staff member away when an embrace was attempted.

Spalletti was in the stands sitting out a touchline ban.

Lozano has been rather overshadowed this season by the arrival of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and good form of Politano.

  1. He’s a selfish inconsistent player who has already spoken of his desire to leave, sell him in the winter.

  2. He’s talented but very selfish, not the right player for this team, his time has come to go, I would have rather kept Mertens and sold Lozano. We can find a better winger than Lozano.

  3. He would play more if he could finish at all. Unless it is a wide open tap in he consistently misses goals. If he starts finishing better a front three of Kvara, Osimhen, and Lozano would be impossible to keep up with. He should still be getting in before Zerbin ever does, especially against the top teams.
