Manuel Locatelli has completed his Juventus medical ahead of the transfer from Sassuolo, on a two-year loan with obligation to buy for €35m.

The 23-year-old midfielder arrived in Turin last night, staying at the club’s J-Hotel complex, before his tests this morning.

He walked out of the medical centre and greeted fans who were waiting for him outside, signing autographs and posing for selfies as they chanted his name.

After weeks of negotiations, the deal was finally done yesterday for a two-year loan with obligation to buy for €35m, including bonuses.

Sassuolo won’t receive any money for the first two seasons, but they will retain a percentage of his sell-on fee, somewhere between 5-10 per cent.
