Leeds loanee Rasmus Kristensen scored his first Serie A goal for Roma, helping José Mourinho’s side secure a key 2-1 win over Sassuolo on Sunday.

The Denmark international was introduced as a substitute in the second half and played a key role in Roma’s win in Reggio Emilia.

He first earned a penalty kick converted by Paulo Dybala and then won the game with his first Serie A goal at minute 82. His shot was deflected by Ruan Tressoldi, but Lega Serie A didn’t give it as an own goal.

Kristensen has made 13 appearances with the Giallorossi this season. He is on a dry loan deal at the Stadio Olimpico so he is expected to return to Leeds at the end of the season.
