The 22-year-old broke into tears inside the pitch after the final whistle at the Mapei Stadium and could not hide his joy when he met his family shortly after. The video of the meeting with his family members, including his father and mother, has become viral on social media.
Leao has a contract until 2024, but the Rossoneri are in talks to extend his stay until 2026 despite the interest from Real Madrid, who are reportedly ready to offer up to €120m to secure his services.
