Lautaro Martinez scored his 100th Serie A goal, achieving it in only 196 top flight appearances, breaking several records for Inter.
The Argentina international ran on to the Kristjan Asllani assist off the outside of the boot and sprung the offside trap, drawing out Lecce defenders and goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone to prod into the net at full stretch.
It was a landmark moment for El Toro, as it was his 100th Serie A goal.
The 26-year-old had scored his very first in the Italian top flight during a 2-0 win over Cagliari at San Siro on September 29, 2018.
On top of being the Century, it was also Lautaro Martinez’s 21st Serie A goal of the season, already equalling his personal best set in each of the last two campaigns.
He becomes only the ninth player to score at least 100 goals for Inter in Serie A, now just three shy of Christian Vieri’s tally.
However, he is only the third foreign player to reach this milestone for Inter, after Stefano Nyers and Mauro Icardi.
