Napoli fans have something to smile about, because Georgia international Kvicha Kvaratskhelia made a sensational debut.

The Partenopei supporters were in a foul mood this summer following the departure of Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Kalidou Koulibaly, all of them fan favourites who had been at the club for many years.

However, they were all talking about Kvicha during the first pre-season friendly against local side Anaune Val di Non.

The 21-year-old immediately created the opening goal by skipping past two players in a row to set up the Amir Rrahmani tap-in, then scored the second himself with an angled drive.

He continued to turn defenders inside out, only for Hirving Lozano to waste the assist.

After Anguissa scored for 3-0, Kvicha added a fourth with a fantastic first touch to run forward and dink it over the goalkeeper.

He almost completed the hat-trick by half-time, only to be denied by the woodwork.

  1. What has ADL WON ?
Lucky at times to be average team
Only thing adl does is buy foreigners/ and never win anything

  2. Tony, taking a team that wasn’t even in the B league and making them a regular top half of the table team in the league isn’t average. I agree the club should win more silverware but you need to be realistic this day in age when you have a family run team with a stadium that is constantly requiring upgrades. Yet, pre-covid this teams books were balanced.
