Juventus paid tribute to Gianluigi Buffon on social media as the goalkeeper will be leaving the club after 19 seasons.

The legendary goalkeeper joined the Bianconeri in 2001 and remained at the club for 17 years before moving to PSG in 2018.

After one year in Paris, he surprisingly returned to Turin for a two-year spell which has now come to an end.

Buffon played 685 games at Juventus and won 22 trophies.

He played his last game in a Bianconeri shirt in the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta last week.

After their 4-1 win over Bologna, Juventus paid tribute to their legendary goalkeeper with a video and a message posted on social media: “A thank you is not enough, Legend,” the Bianconeri wrote on Twitter.
