A group of Juventus fans paid to put a video message on the iconic Times Square screens in NYC calling for Max Allegri to be sacked.

The hashtag #AllegriOut is back trending on social media in Italy following the shock 1-0 home defeat to Udinese on Monday evening, which left the Bianconeri seven points adrift of leaders Inter, despite playing an extra game.

Few expected the hashtag to reach the giant screens in Times Square, but that is precisely what happened, with video of the message in New York City.

It reads: ‘For a Juventus comeback NO OTHER OPTIONS THAN #ALLEGRIOUT”

The message is signed by Dybalix and AminePJ, who are Juventus supporters based in France.

This might seem like an extreme gesture, but the cost of a simple text message for 15 seconds can be as little as 40 dollars.
