Juventus fans begged Matthijs de Ligt to stay at the club without receiving a reply, while Weston McKennie promised autographs for Bianconeri supporters.

Juventus stars are having their medical checks ahead of the start of the new season.

They are showing up at the J Medical this morning, with training sessions beginning on Monday 11.

Some Juventus players had already undergone their medical tests earlier this week, but those on international duty at the end of 2021-22 arrived at the J Medical today.

Among them were new captain Leonardo Bonucci, De Ligt and McKennie.

The Dutch defender is likely to leave the club and didn’t reply to fans who had begged him to stay. However, the ex-Ajax captain still signed autographs for fans, like most of his teammates, including McKennie.

The USMNT international first stopped with a group of disabled fans at the J Medical’s gate, promising to the rest that he’d return after his medical examinations. ‘Arrivo dopo,’ he said in Italian.

  1. As a Juve fan I think we should show dignity. There are many good defenders as de Ligt is. If he wants to leave, let him go.
