Carlo Ancelotti didn’t face any questions about Real Madrid‘s Champions League match against Braga so he ended his pre-match press conference saying: ‘It’s a shame, I wanted to tell you the starting line-up.’
Spanish media are focused on referee controversies following Madrid’s La Liga clash against Sevilla and racist abuse towards Vini Jr so Ancelotti didn’t receive any question about their next Champions League opponent Braga during a pre-match press conference on Monday.
Real Madrid are the Group C leaders in the Champions League, with six points in two games. They have already beaten Leonardo Bonucci’s Union Berlin and Serie A champions Napoli.
Journalists attending Ancelotti’s press conference on Monday erupted into laughter when the Italian tactician left the press room without having faced any questions on the upcoming European fixture. “It’s a shame, I wanted to tell you the starting line-up, but you didn’t ask it,” said Ancelotti smiling before leaving the room.
