Italy international Nicolò Zaniolo finally got his first goal in the Aston Villa jersey during the Europa Conference League match against Zrinjski.
He was in the starting XI and had a few opportunities go begging before getting on the end of an assist from substitute John McGinn.
The 24-year-old was making his 16th competitive appearance for Aston Villa, in which the extent of his contribution had so far been four yellow cards.
Zaniolo is on loan from Galatasaray for €5m and Villa have an option to make it permanent for a further €22.5m plus €15.5m in bonuses.
