Inter captain Lautaro Martinez forgot his luggage inside the team bus on Tuesday, so Marcus Thuram brought it to his teammate as the Nerazzurri prepared for their flight to Saudi Arabia.
The Nerazzurri are among the four clubs involved in the 2024 Supercoppa Italiana, having won the Coppa Italia last term.
It will be played in Ryad, and the Nerazzurri will face last season’s Serie A runners-up, Lazio, in the semi-finals on Friday.
They took off for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, but when they arrived at the airport, their captain, Lautaro Martinez, realised he had left his luggage inside the team bus.
A staff member informed Thuram, who was on his way to the airport’s gate, so the French striker collected his teammate’s suitcase and delivered it inside the airport.
Luckily for the Nerazzurri, Lautaro and Thuram link up well on the pitch too, having contributed to 44 Inter goals this term.
