Simone Inzaghi is meeting Beppe Marotta and Steven Zhang to plan Inter‘s summer transfer strategies.

The Nerazzurri won two trophies in 2021-22 but failed to retain the Serie A title, finishing behind their city rivals Milan.

They have already begun talks to prepare for 2022-23, with coach Inzaghi meeting Marotta and Zhang today.

Inzaghi arrived at Inter’s headquarters at 1 pm local time (12 pm in the UK) and will discuss the club’s transfer strategies for the summer. He could also meet André Onana for the first time. The Cameroon international underwent medicals with the Serie A giants in January and will join the club as a free agent from Ajax.

Inter may need to sell one of their stars in the summer to balance the books and have targeted both Paulo Dybala (Juventus) and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Roma) who are available as free agents. Inzaghi will also be offered a contract extension until 2025. He signed a two-year deal with the Nerazzurri last summer.
