Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has made his name with some remarkable Serie A saves, but out-did himself with an extraordinary triple parry against Roma.
The Giallorossi were already 2-0 up at the Stadio Olimpico with Roger Ibanez and Tammy Abraham headers from corners when they thought it simply had to be 3-0.
However, they did not count on the cat-like reflexes of Vicario, who in one move managed to parry a volley from Paulo Dybala, the Gianluca Mancini follow-up and using his trailing foot denied the Abraham header from point-blank range.
