Josip Ilicic will be in attendance for his former side Atalanta’s upcoming Serie A fixture against Salernitana, which kicks off at 19.45 GMT on Monday evening.
The 35-year-old was picked up by the Serie A cameras while making his way to his seat at the Gewiss Stadium, stopping to take a number of pictures with supporters along the way.
Ilicic made 136 competitive appearances for Atalanta over a five-year spell between 2017 and 2022, contributing with 47 goals, as well as helping La Dea on their way to their first ever Champions League quarter-final in 2020.
The Slovenian had been suffering with widely-documented mental health issues and chose to return to Maribor to see out the rest of his career, where he has scored three times from 15 league outings this season.
