Zlatan Ibrahimovic took an unexpected route to his hosting gig at the Sanremo Music Festival, catching a 60km ride on the back of a Milan fan’s motorbike.
The striker has been guest-hosting all week at the event on the Liguria coast, but took yesterday off to be present at Milan’s 1-1 draw with Udinese.
He trained with his teammates this morning, then intended to drive to Sanremo in the afternoon.
However, there was a traffic accident that brought the roads to a standstill, as Ibra explained when he finally arrived.

“After three hours sitting there in my car, I told the driver I had to get out. I stopped a passing motorcyclist and asked if he could take me to Sanremo.
“Fortunately, he was a Milanista. He took me for 60km on the motorbike and when we arrived, and it was really cold, he said: That was my first time on the motorway….”
Ibra also showed a video of the journey through a tunnel, with helmet and mask.
