Video: Ibrahimovic enjoys kick about in Miami with Milan under pressure in Serie A

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was spotted enjoying a kick about with a group of friends on Miami’s South Beach on Thursday night (European time), as Milan prepare to face Sassuolo in a crunch game in Serie A on Saturday.

The legendary former Rossoneri, Inter and Juventus striker returned to Milan at the beginning of December as a senior advisor to the club’s owners and is thought to have an active role in the football and business operations at the club.

Milan, and particularly coach Stefano Pioli, currently find themselves under pressure back in Italy, having been eliminated from the Champions League at the Group Stage, while also finding themselves outside the Serie A title race, sitting in third place and seven points off Juventus in second.

Pioli was asked about Ibrahimovic’s travels to the US during his pre-match press conference on Friday, but the coach insisted that the Swede had pre-existing commitments that were arranged prior to his Milan return.

“It’s a question you have to ask him, but I know he had already made this commitment before signing with Milan. It’s not a problem,” Pioli told the press.
