Zlatan Ibrahimovic was subject to alleged ethnic slur during Milan’s Europa League clash against Red Star on Thursday.

The Swede remained on the bench for the whole game as the Rossoneri picked up an away 2-2 draw against Red Star in the first leg of the last 32 stage last night.

A video posted by journalist Arnesa Buljušmić-Kustura on Twitter shows the Milan striker unmoved as he is heckled by Red Star supporters who were not supposed to be in the stadium due to COVID restrictions.

Ibrahimovic was reportedly called “Balija”, an “ethnic slur for Bosniaks that’s been used for years by Serb nationalists especially as one of the biggest insults,” Buljušmić-Kustura explained.
