Mario Balotelli and his Adana Demirspor teammate M’Baye Niang had their own special way of deciding who would take the penalty for their team.

When the spot-kick was awarded against Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig, both of them had already found the back of the net for a 2-0 lead.

It was at the 93rd minute and they played an old-fashioned kid’s game, similar to Rock, Paper, Scissors, to pick the penalty taker.

Former Milan striker Niang won and got to convert it for his brace.

It is hardly the first time that players have done this when trying to decide who takes a set play, although it usually a free kick more than a penalty.
