Napoli received a very special visit during their tour of Turkey, as former captain Marek Hamsik stopped by to say hello.
They were on his turf, as Hamsik joined Trabzonspor in July 2021 and recently announced his retirement from international football with Slovakia.
Now 35, the midfielder took the opportunity to meet with coach Luciano Spalletti and the squad at their training camp in Antalya.
Napoli will play Antalyaspor on Wednesday December 7 and then Crystal Palace on Sunday December 11 as part of their warm-ups for when Serie A resumes on January 3.
Hamsik made 520 competitive appearances for Napoli, scoring 121 goals and providing 103 assists from 2007 to February 2019.
