Italian coach Gennaro Gattuso is well known for his temper and tendency to go over the line in interviews and has already lost his temper with reporters at a press conference for HNK Hajduk Split.
The former Milan midfielder and coach was a surprise pick for the Croatian club this summer after experiences with Napoli, Valencia and Olympique Marseille.
His season started with a 2-0 win over HB Torshavn in the Champions League qualifying round, with the goals in the opening 30 minutes.
He then sat down to receive questions at a press conference, but it immediately got off to a tense start when he was asked about the poor second half.
“And the first half? Are you only asking me about the negative things? Come on, reply,” Gattuso told the interpreter in an irritated tone.
“Talk about the positive things first, then the negative ones. You and I are starting badly, you know. You and me, we’re getting off on the wrong foot.
“For 60 minutes we played incredible football and you ask me why we played badly for 30?!”
