Girona striker Artem Dovbyk is now on the ground in the Italian capital, ready to formally complete his move to Roma.
Dovbyk was spotted getting off a plane at the airport in Rome, and was greeted by plenty of Giallorossi supporters on the tarmac.
The 27-year-old, who is the reigning LaLiga Golden Boot winner, agreed a deal on personal terms after face-to-face talks in Spain with Giallorossi director Florent Ghisolfi earlier in the week.
Ghisolfi also left Spain with an agreement with Girona all wrapped up, agreeing to pay an up front fee of €30.5m for the Ukrainian, with up to €5.5m in bonuses added on. Girona will also retain a 10% sell-on clause.
