Watch as Federico Dimarco scores only his second senior goal for Italy, a ferocious strike off the outside of the left boot in the Nations League against the Netherlands.

The Inter wing-back started in the 4-3-3 formation in this afternoon’s third-place final in Enschede and took just six minutes to break the deadlock.

His cross had started the move and he finished it on a Giacomo Raspadori back-heel assist.

It was only Dimarco’s second goal for the Nazionale, after a Nations League 2-0 win away to Hungary in September 2022.

Italy had not scored that early into a competitive match since October 2019 against Liechtenstein with Federico Bernardeschi at the second minute.
