Tammy Abraham may still be looking for consistency but was vital in Roma’s 1-0 win over Bologna on Wednesday with a goal-line clearance in stoppage time.
The former Chelsea striker was introduced in the second half at the Stadio Olimpico yesterday, in the first game of the year in Serie A.
Abraham has attracted criticism from the media due to his poor goal-scoring form which also cost him a place in the England squad at the World Cup.
However, he was decisive in Roma’s 1-0 yesterday, producing a decisive goal-line clearance in stoppage time, which helped Roma secure the first victory of the year.
