Footage of the feisty scenes between Juventus and Inter in the aftermath of Romelu Lukaku’s late equaliser and celebrations during Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia semi-final show Juan Cuadrado attempting to strike the veteran Samir Handanovic.

Referee Davide Massa was forced to brandish three red cards after the 95th minute of the cup edition of the Derby d’Italia to both Cuadrado and Handanovic, as well as to the goalscoring Lukaku a few minutes prior.

Lukaku had made a gesture attempting to silence a section of Juve supporters behind the goal after racist chants and monkey noises were heard from the stands before his 95th minute penalty.

A series of scraps broke out almost immediately afterwards and continued for several minutes after the penalty, most notably between Cuadrado and Handanovic.

The below clip shows the 34-year-old Colombian attempting to strike the 38-year-old Handanovic with his fist while several Juve players and coaches tried to separate them.

Both players will now face bans for their involvement in the ugly scenes at the end of the tie.
