Juventus and Italy star Federico Chiesa has just arrived at J Medical to undergo a medical examination on his knee.

The 24-year-old could have suffered a potentially season-ending injury against Roma last night.

Some reports indicate a potential ACL rupture, while others say he has a knee ligament strain.

In the morning, Chiesa arrived at Juventus’ private clinic to undergo medical tests and determine the extent of his injury, accompanied by his father and former Serie A striker Enrico.

The former Fiorentina man had just returned to action after a muscular injury.

  1. This would be a real shame for the player. Best player for Juve by some margin and offers them the best chance of getting a top 4 finish. Allegri will have to dip into the market for additional attacking support if this is a long term injury.

  2. It was heart breaking seeing Kjaer on crutches a little while back. I hope for Chiesa’s sake it is only a sprain. No one wants to see sportsmen and women injured.

  3. Ah geezes! Let’s all hope for our (Italy’s) sake that his injury isn’t as bad as what it looks like in that photo.

  4. Get well soon, I hope it is not too serious. It must be a terrible experience for a young player.

  5. ahhh this cant be:( the gem of juve and Italy. My god, this years already crashing down. Speedy recovery Chiesa!
