Giorgio Chiellini paid a visit to the Juventus headquarters today, but it wasn’t just to say hello to his old teammates, as he is discussing a job at the club.

The defender hung up his boots after an experience in MLS with LAFC and is now back in Italy ready for the next stage of his career.

Tuttosport had already reported that Chiellini would meet with Juventus chiefs today and the side’s social media channels released a video of him hugging some of his old teammates, including Federico Chiesa, Weston McKennie and Manuel Locatelli.

The real purpose for his visit was to talk about what role he could have within the club, as options include joining Max Allegri’s coaching staff, taking more of a hands-on approach to transfer strategy or even just being a brand ambassador representing his many years with the Old Lady.

The 39-year-old made 561 competitive appearances for Juventus, scoring 36 goals and providing 26 assists.
