Rafael Leao turned on the style with a spectacular piece of skill to provide the assist for Theo Hernandez as Milan thrashed Venezia 4-0.

The Portugal international had been criticised in recent weeks for his attitude and even dropped from the starting XI against Lazio.

However, he showed just what he can do in the opening 89 seconds of this evening’s Serie A match at San Siro, stroking the ball under the sole of the boot and shuffling it behind him to send Theo Hernandez down the left flank.

From there, the finish squirmed between Jesse Joronen’s legs to open the scoring in what would go on to be a 4-0 rout.
