CBS pundit Matteo Bonetti slams Massimiliano Allegri after Juventus‘ loss against Lazio: “He should be ashamed of himself.”

Allegri is under fire as Juventus have only collected seven points in the last nine Serie A outings and Saturday’s loss against Lazio gives a chance to Bologna and Roma to move closer to the Old Lady in the Serie A table, keeping the race for the top four wide open.

The Italian tactician picked a 4-3-3 formation against Lazio, starting Mattia De Sciglio for the first time in 11 months after a knee injury and Andrea Cambiaso as a right winger.

The result wasn’t good at all, but the performance also left fans and media disappointed. CBS pundit Bonetti strongly criticised Allegri following Juventus’ latest loss.

“He should be ashamed of himself the way that he put out this team,” he said.

“You have all week to prepare, in this case, two weeks. De Sciglio should be nowhere near the team, he’s not good enough for this level or anything close. Juventus go to this game like a provincial side. That is not the Juventus way.”
