Hakan Calhanoglu scored his first ever free-kick in an Inter shirt during the Nerazzurri’s first home Champions League game of the season against Red Star, bending a wonderful set-piece in off the post from 30 yards out.
The Turkey international made San Siro erupt after 11 minutes by perfectly placing a right-footed attempt past Red Star’s Omri Glazer, with the ball flying over the wall and coming off the inside of the far post before landing into the back of the net.
Football Italia is among the accredited media at San Siro as Inter take on Red Star in the Champions League, with the hosts’ Curva Nord deciding not to expose any banners after some of their ultras were arrested on Monday
